Jose Auriemo Neto: Introducing Reforms in the Real Estate Industry

The JHSF Participacoes is a real estate and property development company that was established in 1972. The company is currently headquartered in Sao Paolo, and its chief executive officer in the present is Jose Auriemo Neto, who is the grandchild of the original founder. Jose Auriemo Neto started his career with the company as a department head. He spearheaded the company’s venture in the field of retail, and he convinced his grandfather to build malls across the country’s major cities.

When his grandfather stepped down from the executive position, he was chosen to become the successor, and became the chief executive officer in 2003. His leadership is remembered by his colleagues as one of the best, and the golden age of the company kicked in after he became the company’s leader. He also introduced a lot of reforms within the company, like the shift from building expensive properties to building properties that are of mixed-use. Jose Auriemo Neto focused greatly on the expansion of its malls, and in 2009, he signed contracts with international brands to open up stores in his malls. Aside from managing their shopping malls, hotels, residential properties, and office complexes, he is also working with the Brazilian government to build a state of the art airport in the city of Sao Paolo.
