Daniel Taub Strengthens Relationship Ties between Israel and UK
Daniel Taub was appointed as the new Israel Ambassador to the United Kingdom in 2011.He served for four years as an ambassador and a peace negotiator. At one time when he acted as a peace negotiator is when he got invited to the city of Bradford by the community when Bradford West MP, Galloway gave an announcement that his constituency was an Israel free zone. According to Galloway, Israel services were not needed, no Israel tourists were to visit, no academicians were to study there, and no businesses from Israel were to be carried out in Bradford. Daniel Taub was committed to holding meetings concerning the matter with faith leaders, councilors, and other groups.
According to Taub, Bradford had a voice more of inclusion and not an exclusion voice as that of George Galloway. He believes that it’s important when people work and together regardless of their backgrounds and faith. The important model should be adhered to in the region of Bradford. Daniel Taub believes that there is no significant conflict between the Shia and the Sunni. Also, to him, people need to join hands and make the future bright. Bradford and Israel had been in cooperation for such a long time. Thus, Galloway was not the best leader for Bradford according to Taub.
For the four years Daniel Taub served as an Israeli ambassador, the business grew, and over 300 Israel businesses were carried out in the UK. Bilateral trade went as high as $7billion thus establishing strong ties between UK and Israel. Additionally, relationship ties regarding culture, businesses, and academics were created. Daniel Taub used the four years to make peace between the two countries and ensured they were the best places to be.
